The Ohio State University is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator - Lead at Ross Heart Hospital to oversee daily operations between the Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing Departments, ensuring timely case cart preparation, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments. This role leads standardization of trays across the enterprise and supports 24/7 reprocessing at multiple sites.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST/HSPA or CSPDT certification required upon hire.
• Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 4 years of relevant experience required; 6+ years preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Lead case cart assembly, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of reprocessed surgical inventory.
• Standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Monitor OR schedules to ensure timely instrumentation delivery to the OR.
