Job summary

Ohio State University Hospital is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator - Lead to oversee daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing.

You will ensure sterilized instruments are prepared, tracked, and delivered aseptically for surgeries across the enterprise, provide clinical orientation, and support process improvements.

This role requires CRCST/CSPDT certification, at least 4 years of relevant experience (6+ preferred), and willingness to work second shift on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in relevant field preferred.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities between OR and Sterile Processing to ensure efficient case flow.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of reprocessed surgical inventory.
• Coordinate instrument trays across the Enterprise and monitor OR scheduling.
