Qualifications

• High school diploma and two years of post-high school education or equivalent work experience in engineering or a related technical field.
• Five years of experience in nuclear, fossil, similar industrial facility, or military experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support a changing work schedule as required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Experience with Instrument and Controls.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe execution of daily maintenance work activities. Reviews work that is to be executed that day, leads daily crew briefings, makes work assignments, and conducts pre-job briefings.
• Works with other plant groups such as operations, scheduling, planning and engineering to resolve equipment issues. Interfaces with operations and scheduling to ensure work is on the plan and parts are proper.
• Attends scheduling meetings to support the Work Management Process and site initiatives; ensures week‑long preparedness and participation in station improvement teams.
• Supports training by serving on the Training Committee and overseeing on-the-job training; conducts On-the-Job Training/Task Performance Evaluation programs.
