Job summary

Richardson School in Appleton, WI is seeking an Instructional Aide Supervisor to lead Instructional Aides, manage scheduling, and oversee intervention training.

You will coordinate with Day School Director, SES, teachers, and staff to meet educational, treatment, and behavioral needs, and ensure staff recertification training is completed. A bachelor's degree in human services and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and at least one year of experience working with developmentally disabled and/or emotionally disturbed children in a residential or educational setting or equivalent experience.
• Must obtain Wisconsin DPI substitute teaching license within one month of hire and maintain it without lapse.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction and is a resource for all Instructional Aides at the assigned site.
• Manages IA scheduling and classroom assignments and adjusts as student needs change.
• Oversees de-escalation and intervention training for all staff and ensures timely recertification.
• Functions as an IA during high enrollment or coverage periods to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintains documentation of training and fosters collaboration with Day School Director, SES, teachers, and staff.
