Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
• At least one year of experience working with students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with classroom teacher or supervisor to discuss daily activities, academics, behavioral support, and medical concerns.
• Complete and submit paperwork and data as scheduled.
• Use approved treatment techniques when supervising and educating students.
• Familiarity with behavior management and education techniques used in the classroom.
• Act as a role model for students, staff, and the community.
• Implement students' academic programs using IEP resources under supervision.
• Engage students in active learning as directed by the teacher.
• Provide support for staff and ensure Education Department policies are followed.
