Job summary

Sylvania in De Pere, WI, is hiring a Special Education Instructional Aide for the Intermediate School on a part-time schedule (5 hours/day, 10:00 am–3:00 pm). The role follows the school calendar and does not include insurance benefits.

The successful candidate will support students of all abilities, assist with IEPs, supervise lunch and recess, and collaborate with the Special Education staff to create a positive, organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree in education preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work with students of all abilities.
• Knowledge of basic educational classroom operations.

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferably a college degree including courses in education and preferably holds a valid Wisconsin teaching certificate)
• Ability and willingness to work with students of all abilities
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic educational classroom operations
• High degree of organization, self-initiative and accuracy in work performed
• Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and project a positive and courteous attitude and image to the staff, students, and community
• Ability and skills needed to work as part of an educational team
