Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead daily molding operations in a startup manufacturing facility. The role focuses on establishing efficient production processes, guiding equipment startup, and upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on leadership with deep molding knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to drive improvements as the facility scales up its operations across two shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in injection molding with hands-on troubleshooting
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of molding machines, molds, robotics and related equipment
• Capable of identifying and correcting molding defects and optimizing cycles
• Experience supporting startups or new manufacturing processes is a plus
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily injection molding operations, ensuring schedules, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Provide direction, training, and technical support to production personnel.
• Oversee machine setups, startups, mold changes, and changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Monitor production performance, cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
• Develop and implement SOPs within the startup facility.
• Troubleshoot defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and weld lines.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Tooling teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
