MDS Staffing is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a startup manufacturing facility on first and second shifts. This hands-on leader will help establish efficient production processes, support equipment startup, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are maintained.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on leadership with strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of improving processes in growing manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding leadership and mold changes.
• Experience guiding production teams and implementing SOPs in a startup environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for process and equipment issues.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics, cycle times, and material handling.
• Experience supporting production startups and equipment installations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily injection molding operations to meet schedules, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Provide direction, training, and technical support to production personnel across operations.
• Oversee machine setups, startups, mold changes, and changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance metrics, cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
• Support SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives.
