Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead our infusion pharmacy operations. You will coordinate patient services with nursing, delivery and reimbursement, and supervise staff to ensure safe, compliant pharmaceutical care.

You will oversee licensure requirements, training, and the formulary-guided preparation of medications, while supporting sales and accounts education about available services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current, active Pharmacy license as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a clean room or infusion pharmacy setting, or 2 years plus relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge of MTM, non-sterile compounding, or completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency Program is preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage inventory and purchasing, and coordinate with nursing and reimbursement teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and manages appropriate patient care in home infusion settings.
• Directs daily activities of the pharmacy department to prioritize pharmaceutical care.
• Oversees regulatory requirements for an alternate site pharmacy and licensure.
• Ensures staff are trained on computers and admixture devices while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Provides education to physicians, nurses, and technicians on home care pharmacy issues.
