Job summary

Storm2 seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to partner with executives in a fintech payroll platform serving web3 and blockchain ecosystems. You will build secure, scalable systems for financial transactions and digital asset operations, owning platform reliability, incident response, and security best practices.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in DevOps/SRE or security roles, deep cloud expertise, and hands-on experience with IAM, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or Security Engineering.
• Strong cloud experience across public platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep understanding of IAM, networking, secrets management, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives across cloud, application, and payment platforms.
• Manage incident response, vulnerability management, access controls, and security best practices.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Own platform reliability, monitoring, alerting, backups, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
• Improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Support production operations, troubleshooting, and release management.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure integrations with blockchain and payment systems.
• Drive compliance, audit readiness, and risk management efforts.
