Job summary

Storm2 seeks a Technical Lead to own the core product experience and direction for its fintech platform. You will lead full-stack development, shape architecture, and deliver mission-critical, borrower-facing systems in collaboration with founders.

You will mentor engineers, drive performance and security, and align technical decisions with product strategy. The role offers token/equity incentives, unlimited PTO, and an opportunity to impact a fast-growing Series A company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack software experience.
• Proven track record as a senior or lead engineer.
• Strong frontend and backend capabilities with modern JS frameworks.
• Exposure to fintech, distributed systems, or crypto/DeFi is beneficial.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced startup environment and translate problems into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development and system architecture for core products.
• Build and scale high-performance, secure web applications.
• Integrate complex backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Partner with founders on product strategy and roadmap prioritisation.
• Drive engineering best practices around performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and shape a high-calibre technical team.
