Job description

Sodexo, Inc. : Lead Information Security Analyst / Cloud Security Architect - Bethesda, MD

DUTIES :

1. Analyze and understand security challenges in the Cloud within Sodexo's global digital transformation and the North America information security team.
2. Devise strategies to maintain and secure our Azure ecosystem, including issuing security requirements for IT projects, especially those related to Digital Service Data / AI Platform.
3. Define technical and functional security prerequisites for main cloud projects, aligning with IT and information security strategies, particularly regarding digital identities, cloud integration, and data platforms.
4. Review Azure Cloud services and propose security requirements consistent with the Sodexo IS&T Security Framework.
5. Contribute to the development, drafting, and implementation of security policies, directives, and guidelines.
6. Manage cloud security projects—identifying and formalizing requirements, testing and selecting solutions, negotiating contracts, and overseeing implementation.
7. Support entities in deploying security solutions considering business needs (internal business owners, clients, BU CIOs, internal control, internal audit, external auditors).
8. Assist regions and BUs in migrating and deploying workloads in Sodexo's public cloud.
9. Assess security risks and define appropriate security measures and processes to protect data and systems before go-live and during rollout.
10. Analyze business and IT requests impacting information and systems security in the Sodexo public cloud and propose mitigating measures.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related technical field, with at least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Information Security. Experience should include:

• 5 years of technical experience with IT systems (network, system, database, applications)
• 5 years of experience with risk assessment methodologies (ISO27005 and eBIOS)
• 5 years of Cloud Security Architecture experience (AWS or Azure)

Position is 100% remote; can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

SALARY : $128,823 - $144,000 / year
