Principal Solution Architect - Nike, Inc. - Beaverton, OR

Align strategic objectives with tactical demands and deliver technical solution approaches that clearly describe the different views of an architecture required for implementation. Engage, collaborate, and partner with various functional leaders, technical leaders, and executive partners to understand long and short term business and technology strategies.

Provide thought leadership and engage in proactive planning of an executable technology roadmap. Develop solution options, recommendations, and designs based on the Financial Planning and Performance Management platform, its roadmaps, requirements, enterprise security standards, and reference architectures. Drive and facilitate discussions that identify business solutions in relation to the current and future technology landscape.

Create and maintain solution and technology inventories. Work closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver solution architecture artifacts. Ensure architecture alignment across domains and enabling functions (verticals and horizontals). Collaborate with Foundational Architecture and Enterprise PaaS teams to prioritize needed capabilities. Advocate and promote the adoption of standard methodologies to ensure consistency of solution architecture outputs across the enterprise.

Align with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership. Lead priorities and timelines with minimal customer concern. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems
• At least 2 years of experience in a related architect role or similar occupation
