Job summary

Cadence Education in Bourne, MA is seeking an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to support daily classroom operations and Cadence Education programs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and coordinate with families to support each child’s development.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety and licensing, and dedication to inclusive practice, including support for children with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently follow safety procedures in a daycare setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment for children.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including following IEPs.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision procedures and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and documenting child behaviors in line with policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
