Job summary

Cadence Education in Bourne, MA is seeking an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to support daily classroom operations and implement Cadence Education programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's development and positive relationships with families.

The role requires following safety procedures, collaborating with a classroom team, and meeting state licensing requirements; a degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred and CDA is optional.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA certification preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment for children.
• Greet children and families daily; establish professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (IEPs).
• Support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using approved Cadence tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents accordingly.
