Job summary

Cadence Education in Weston, MA is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to create a warm, engaging classroom and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum under the guidance of the School Director. You will lead classroom operations and support children's growth, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA/CCP/EEC or NAC credential may be required per state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where every child is treated with dignity and care.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Use Cadence communication tools to engage with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following the Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy and licensing.
• Follow company policies and participate in required trainings and meetings.
