Tiny Town Childcare and Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. We pride ourselves on fostering a home-like atmosphere where children feel loved, supported, and engaged. If you have a passion for early childhood education and are committed to providing high-quality care, we encourage you to apply!

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lesson plans to support infants' developmental milestones, including sensory exploration, movement, music, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Create a safe, clean, and healthy environment in accordance with ODJFS regulations and guidelines.
  • Foster a warm, caring, and nurturing atmosphere to help infants feel comfortable and secure.
  • Engage with infants through singing, dancing, playing, and other interactive activities that promote development.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's growth and development.
  • Promote positive social-emotional development through supportive interactions.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and properly stocked with materials and supplies.


Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
  • Knowledge of ODJFS rules and regulations for child care centers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A nurturing and compassionate approach to working with children.
  • Ability to create and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
