Tiny Town Childcare and Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. We pride ourselves on fostering a home-like atmosphere where children feel loved, supported, and engaged. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lesson plans to support infants' developmental milestones, including sensory exploration, movement, music, and hands-on learning experiences.
Create a safe, clean, and healthy environment in accordance with ODJFS regulations and guidelines.
Foster a warm, caring, and nurturing atmosphere to help infants feel comfortable and secure.
Engage with infants through singing, dancing, playing, and other interactive activities that promote development.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities.
Maintain accurate records of children's growth and development.
Promote positive social-emotional development through supportive interactions.
Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and properly stocked with materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with infants or young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
Knowledge of ODJFS rules and regulations for child care centers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A nurturing and compassionate approach to working with children.
Ability to create and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
