This position is specifically for an individual seeking full-time employment (40 hours/week), being a co-lead teacher in a classroom, and working with children 6 weeks to 12 months in age in a preschool setting.

We recognize our preschool teachers in many ways! We understand that wages and benefits is a priority. Here is what we offer:

  • Current Salary Range: between $16.00-$21.00/hourly pay (based on education level)
  • Hours of work each day: 8 hour work shift
  • Same set daily work shift each day, for consistency and planning
  • Annual pay raises (actually 2 pay raises in the first year)
  • Potential quarterly incentive bonuses worth an extra $1-$3/hour more in pay for all hours worked during the quarters

Our preschool teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Preschool teachers plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree) is preferred
  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (or a child-related degree)
  • Current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching credential
  • Currently enrolled in a CDA or degreed program
  • Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles

The Goddard School located in Macedonia, Ohio has been open for 16 years and has approximately 140 children under our care. As part of a larger franchise system, in operation for over 30 years, we are the premiere preschool for children six weeks to six years old.
