The Gardner School is a state-of-the-art educational program for young children and their families. We have a supportive environment for staff with competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates will have some college education and some experience with young children.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily.
  2. Ensure the safety of each child.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.
  4. Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.
  5. Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers.
  6. Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
  7. Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree or CDA a must (BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of previous experience working with children
  • Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Pediatric first aid and CPR certification
