Job summary

BEUMER Group is seeking a Project Manager in the Products line to lead the planning, management and execution of projects in North America across cement, building materials, and consumer goods sectors. You will engage early with Sales and Engineering, drive project delivery from contract to handover, and oversee budgets up to $5,000,000 with BEUMER’s Stage Gate process.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor's degree in engineering; or at least 5 years of relevant industrial PM experience.
• PM experience delivering projects, preferably in the mechatronic/industrial automation industry.
• Strong technical background (electrical, mechanical or similar).
• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge to manage projects per contract terms.
• Process oriented with PMO-standard project management processes.
• Cross-cultural, with good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on, motivated self-starter with a proactive work ethic.
• PMP Certification required or to be obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Sales and engineering during tendering and during the sales phase.
• Execute new sales projects from contract to handover to Customer Support.
• Manage a portfolio of projects across industries from $50,000 to $5,000,000.
• Organize projects via BEUMER Stage Gate with planning, specs, design, production and installation.
• Communicate proactively with customers, stakeholders and project team.
• Lead multi-disciplined teams through full project life cycle.
• Manage scope, supply chain, changes and risks throughout delivery.
• Identify opportunities and risks, manage back charges and claims, document accordingly.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and capacity considerations.
• Develop and update project schedule and create financial reports.
• Support site activities during installation, commissioning and testing.
• Close out projects with complete documentation and system updates.
