The role offers potential for contract extension and full-time conversion, with exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of relevant experience; an engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC, water systems, and air systems within a facility environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee engineering operations and provide technical guidance to technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and validate commissioning information for new equipment.

As a Lead Industrial Operations Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting a dedicated team of maintenance mechanics, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
