Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Autodesk Inventor, and Vault experience.
• Strong analytical skills, including structural FEA using MSC Nastran or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on product design, analysis, and technical development for new machinery and technologies.
• Develop product requirements, specifications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, including Bills of Materials.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans.

Location: Columbia, Tennessee

Pay Range: $110,000 - $155,000

What's the Job?
