Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Generalist in Amherst, OH 44001. The role handles cross-functional maintenance across our facility to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The position requires a strong focus on team safety and proactive upkeep in a fast-paced environment. The job offers a 3rd shift schedule with a pay range of $25.05 to $34.95 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of industrial/general maintenance experience or completion of a maintenance training program, or HVAC program, or related degree.
• If graduated, no prior experience required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in daily department tasks and communicate instructions to the team.
• Provide maintenance support with minimal supervision for safe operation of equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
• Lead and train technicians to grow the team.
