Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. in Salem, OR, is seeking an experienced MT1/MT2 level industrial maintenance technician to support a tortilla production line. This on-site role emphasizes preventative and urgent maintenance, safety, and leadership on cross-functional projects.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, repair PLCs, lead improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager to keep equipment running and uptime high.

Qualifications

• Technical certification (or demonstrated equivalent) required.
• 5+ years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.
• Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in industrial fields such as electrical, fabrication, machining, etc.
• Effective leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Lead projects from CapEx and CI perspectives.
• Identify causes of electrical/electronic problems and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain preventative maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs and programmable devices.
• Estimate costs and timelines for equipment breakdowns and improvements.
• Escalate unresolved breakdowns to management within timelines.
• Assist with facilities-related tasks and special projects as assigned by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
• Provide safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance to support production goals.
