Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) seeks a Lead Industrial Engineer to balance customer needs with production capacity. You will guide cross-functional teams, oversee two manufacturing sites, and provide executive-level insights through analytics.

You will support long-term strategic planning, CAPEX management, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and value-stream mapping across facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Aerospace Manufacturing or related field.
• B.S. in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong data analytics and statistics skills.
• Leadership experience and ability to present to upper management.
• Willingness to travel between AEC sites, globally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IE direct reports at two manufacturing sites.
• Engage with Executive Leadership for reports and reviews.
• Support Production Rate Readiness for legacy and new business.
• Assist long-term facilities planning via data analytics.
• Support Operations teams on safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Manage CAPEX at the Salt Lake City Business Unit.
• Develop and deploy Integrated Business Planning strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement via lean, value stream mapping, and six sigma.
• Own facility layout of 600,000+ sq ft.
