Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an Industrial Engineer to oversee the industrial engineering of two manufacturing sites and collaborate with business line leadership to improve efficiencies and production flows. The role emphasizes labor optimization, line throughput, and capacity planning.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering or related field, 3+ years of experience, and AutoCAD expertise. US Persons only; no visa sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with BS in designated Engineering or related field
• 1-3+ years of AutoCAD experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Oversee the industrial engineering of two manufacturing sites
• Works closely with business line leadership to prepare reports, conduct root cause analysis, and perform program reviews.
• Focuses on labor, efficiencies, and flow through production lines to assist operations teams.
• Acts as a liaison between operations and facilities to maximize equipment efficiency and capacity.
• Support capital projects when adding new equipment and implementing site improvements.
• Assist continuous improvement projects through lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and six sigma initiatives.
• Follows specific, detailed instructions and/or guidance from senior functional staff.
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems by following standardized practices and procedures.
