Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering leader to balance customer needs with production capabilities. You will guide data-driven decisions, oversee two sites, and partner with executives on reports and strategic reviews.

Responsibilities include supporting production readiness, facility planning across a 600,000+ sq ft footprint, and driving continuous improvement via lean and six sigma methods. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5+ years of aerospace manufacturing or related experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office suite; data analytics and statistics.
• Ability to present to upper management; develop direct reports and peers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Industrial Engineering direct reports at two manufacturing sites.
• Engage with executive leadership for reports, root cause analysis, and program reviews.
• Support production rate readiness for legacy and new business.
• Assist long-term facilities planning through data analytics.
• Manage CAPEX and layout for a 600,000+ SQFT production facility.
• Drive lean, value stream mapping, and six sigma initiatives.
