Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components to push innovation. This role analyzes work flows, improves facility layouts, and supports cost control and production records systems across two sites.

We seek an engineer with 3+ years in design or related fields, AutoCAD experience, and strong MS Office skills. SAP experience and Six Sigma Green Belt are preferred. Day shift, on-site in Utah operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with BS in designated Engineering or related field.
• 1-3+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the industrial engineering of two manufacturing sites.
• Work closely with business line leadership to prepare reports and perform root cause analysis.
• Focus on labor, efficiencies, and flow through production lines to assist operations.
• Act as liaison between operations and facilities to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Support capital projects when adding new equipment and implementing site improvements.
• Assist continuous improvement projects through lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and six sigma initiatives.
• Follow detailed instructions from senior staff and develop solutions to routine problems.
