Job summary

WM is seeking a Lead Technician – IWP to perform rebuilds and maintenance of centrifuges, pumps, augers, piping, mixers and other mechanical equipment. You will direct lower level Maintenance Mechanics/Process Technicians in preventive and predictive tasks, and oversee rebuild procedures while also operating centrifuge technology and chemical treatment as needed.

The role includes scheduling, guidance, training, and assisting other Mechanics/Technicians, with field service on emergency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Able to operate in field and shop environments.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Directs work assignments to Mechanics / Process Techs.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling, review, schedule, sign PM's, sign off others.
• Lead safety meetings as required.
• Provide estimates on time and material costs for repairs and new parts.
• Performs field service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Inspects the quality of outside/supplier repairs and rebuilds.
• Reviews the work orders daily and prioritizes repairs.
