Job summary

WM in Humble, TX is seeking a Lead Technician – IWP to lead rebuilds and preventive maintenance of centrifuges and associated equipment. You will direct Mechanics and Technicians, schedule PM tasks, and provide training and guidance.

This role demands safety adherence, ability to diagnose complex failures, and coordination with operations to minimize downtime. Experience in field service and knowledge of safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Compliance with safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Occasional travel for field service work.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Directs work assignments to Mechanics/Process Techs and oversees PM scheduling.
• Performs complex repairs and diagnoses of equipment.
• Provides training and guidance to shop and field personnel.
• Reviews work orders and ensures timely completion.
• Participates in safety meetings as needed.
• Provides estimates for time and materials for repairs.
