Job summary

ARCO/Murray, serving the Chicago area, seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up industrial, cold storage, or food & beverage processing projects. You will manage field operations, schedules, budgets, and safety, guiding the project from start to finish with a strong emphasis on quality and timely delivery.

You’ll coordinate subcontractors, report progress to the project manager and regional leadership, and require a 5–25+ year construction background with proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–25+ years of construction experience.
• Lead superintendent on cold storage or food & beverage projects for 5+ years.
• Current driver’s license.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend project reviews and plan preconstruction activities.
• Develop construction schedules and allocate staff and equipment.
• Direct total construction to meet specs, time, and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage shop drawings and material samples.
• Prepare cost reports and approve requisitions and invoices.
• Maintain safety program adherence and provide progress updates.
