Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Team Lead for Incoming Materials Quality Inspection to supervise the day-to-day activities of the inspection team and ensure all raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies meet quality standards before entering production.

You will coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and manufacturing, maintain QMS records, and drive lean improvements while ensuring audit readiness across shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; technical education preferred.
• 3 years in manufacturing with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP and digital QMS.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience with RCA/CAPA.
• Proficient PC skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 35 lbs. and stand/walk for hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop inspection team; ensure safety and SOPs.
• Allocate resources for timely inspections.
• Bridge communications between shifts, locations, and suppliers.
• Track KPI and report production issues.
• Maintain audit-ready inspection records.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
