Job summary

The State of Connecticut’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS) South Region seeks a Developmental Services Supervisor Of Case Management to oversee a team of 10 DS Case Managers and a caseload of over 400 individuals.

You will supervise staff, coordinate services across waivers, and ensure compliance with DDS policies while engaging with families and community partners in a dynamic state agency environment. The role requires statewide travel and a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree meeting the eligibility criteria for QIDP certification and three years of case management experience.
• Master's degree meeting the eligibility criteria for QIDP certification and two years of case management experience.
• QIDP designation or eligibility is acceptable as described in federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, oversees and reviews the work of staff.
• Provides staff training and assistance; conducts performance evaluations.
• Determines priorities and plans unit work; establishes unit procedures.
• Develops policies and standards; liaises with other units and outside officials.
• Prepares reports; monitors outcomes and ensures DDS policy adherence.
