Job summary

The State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) South Region is seeking a Developmental Services Supervisor of Case Management to supervise 10 DS Case Managers and oversee a caseload of over 400 individuals in the community. The position emphasizes leadership, coordination of services across waivers, collaboration with families and providers, and ensuring quality supports in a fast-paced public agency.

Location is Norwich, CT; full-time, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of professional case management experience or Master's degree with 2 years of professional case management experience.
• Degree must meet eligibility criteria for QIDP per federal guidelines and field requirements.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, oversees and reviews the work of staff in the DDS South Region.
• Provides staff training and assistance; conducts performance evaluations.
• Manages priorities and unit operations; develops policies and procedures.
• Represents the unit with external partners and coordinates with other agencies.
• Monitors quality controls and compliance for individuals served under waivers.
