Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Assistant Chief Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead I&C technical governance and project execution on large power projects. This role blends governance with hands-on leadership of conventional power generation work and enterprise-level standardization across BV processes.

You will mentor engineers, shape I&C standards, and help deploy AI-enabled workflows to improve quality, productivity, and client outcomes across global projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
Active engineering registration or licensure for BV projects.

Responsibilities

Lead I&C Engineer on power generation projects, planning and execution.
Develop discipline execution plans, staffing, schedules, and budgets.
Mentor engineers, provide performance feedback, and support succession planning.
Advance AI-enabled workflows and digital engineering across the I&C portfolio.
