Approximately 50% of the role will focus on Assistant Chief I&C Engineer responsibilities, including technical governance, risk management, QMS and standards stewardship, innovation, talent development, and knowledge transfer.
The remaining time will focus on Project Execution Leadership as a Lead I&C Engineer on appropriately sized conventional power generation assignments. Develop onboarding, technical training, mentoring programs, reference materials, lessons learned, and knowledge management resources that accelerate readiness for power generation I&C work and strengthen future technical leadership depth.
Advance responsible use of AI, automation, digital engineering, reusable design content, and data‑driven solutions to improve I&C execution quality, consistency, productivity, and client outcomes.
Serve as Lead I&C Engineer on power generation projects, leading teams through planning, design, procurement support, construction support, home office startup and commissioning support, and closeout. Develop discipline execution plans, staffing plans, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and technical work processes.
Support pursuits and project reviews by evaluating I&C scope, staffing strategy, subcontracting assumptions, execution risks, hours, deliverables, and technical commitments.
Set execution strategy by optimizing U.S., global, and subcontract resources; standardizing recurring engineering work; improving design reuse; reducing rework; strengthening quality controls; and scaling effective practices across the I&C portfolio.
Build project execution capability by mentoring engineers, supporting performance feedback, recruiting, workforce planning, career development, and succession planning activities tied to reliable delivery and long‑term technical depth.
