Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking aSenior Engineer to provide technical leadership for interconnection, commissioning, and performance of large computational load facilities. You will guide the development of TIRLL and commissioning processes, coordinate with internal experts and customers, and drive reliable engineering deliverables.

The role requires a strong background in power systems, protection and control, and experience leading complex engineering programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
8 years related work experience.
Registration as a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for complex engineering work supporting interconnection and commissioning of large computational load facilities.
Lead or support implementation and development of TIRLL and Computational Load Commissioning Process.
Evaluate complex technical issues and develop practical requirements and solutions for reliability and business objectives.
Apply power system studies, protection and control, power quality, and customer facility design to define TIRLL and commissioning requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional activities and communicate complex technical matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance to engineers and support development of team capabilities and processes.
Plan and manage engineering deliverables and prepare technical documentation.
