Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation in the United States seeks a Sr. Dams Engineering Manager to lead design and project teams on dam, levee and spillway upgrades.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with clients, and deliver high-quality technical solutions across hydropower disciplines. The role offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities to influence major infrastructure programs.

This senior position requires an active engineering license and at least 11 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 11+ years related experience.
• Active engineering licensure (P.E.) preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients across projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical design work and manage project teams.
• Lead dams, levees, spillways, intakes and outlets projects and other structure upgrades.
• Deliver high-quality design products, manage procurement, and support construction processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across disciplines to produce plans, specs, and estimates.
• Mentor and interact with engineers across hydropower and dams teams.
• Support business development activities for pursuing new projects.
