Auburn Heating, Cooling, Electric & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to join our Cleveland-area team. You will deliver top-tier residential service, ensure customer comfort, and maintain system efficiency.

With 5+ years in residential HVAC, EPA (preferred) and strong communication skills, you will diagnose problems, explain options in plain language, and contribute to a safe, professional work environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in residential HVAC service.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Certification: EPA Certification (Preferred); NATE Certification or willingness to obtain training.
Compliance: Knowledge of local HVAC codes and a clean, safe driving record.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication and ability to build rapport with homeowners.
Drive: A win-as-a-team attitude and desire for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance: clean air handling systems, calibrate controls, replace motors, fans, belts, filters.
Provide consultative service: explain options and give accurate cost estimates.
Assist customers in choosing maintenance plans and discuss replacement options.
Maintain an organized, well-inventoried truck and timely invoices/timecards.
