Job summary

Kauai Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician to join our growing Service Department on Kauai. You will diagnose, repair, and service HVAC, commercial refrigeration, and control systems across residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC problems, including installation and replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and commercial refrigeration.
• Read electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Lead larger repairs and jobsites as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM.
