Kauai Mechanical is seeking an experienced Journeyman Service Technician to join our growing Service Department on Kauai. You will diagnose, repair, and service HVAC, commercial refrigeration, and control systems across residential and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC problems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate with a variety of personality types.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration Systems as needed.
• Identify and communicate what is needed to reach a resolution to the customer clearly.
• Estimate costs of installation, repairs, and services to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used in the CRM.
• Take the lead on larger repairs and jobsites with multiple technicians.
