Job summary

Walmart is seeking a seasoned HVAC/Refrigeration Technician in Stillwater, OK to install, maintain, and repair complex systems in commercial settings. You will interpret schematics, perform diagnostics, and lead field teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, customer communication, and coordination with service providers. A valid HVAC/R certification and a Journeyman license are preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

HVAC/R certification required; knowledge of commercial systems.
Experience interpreting schematics and building codes.
EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification.
Strong preventive maintenance practices and safety mindset.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial/industrial settings.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and implement repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
Maintain refrigeration units including racks, walk-ins, and reach-ins.
Inspect systems for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Lead field teams on technical procedures and safety practices.
Manage service calls and coordinate with external providers as needed.
