Job summary

Walmart is hiring an HVAC/R technician to install and service commercial refrigeration and building control systems. You will interpret schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards across multiple facilities.

The role requires HVAC/R certification (Type I/II or universal) and relevant maintenance experience, plus a valid driver's license for regional travel. On-site work with on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years' mechanical maintenance or construction experience (Option 1).
• 4 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or related field (Option 2).
• Must hold EPA Type I and Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems and ductwork.
• Configures low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Leads field teams and mentors junior Technicians and Apprentices.
