Qualifications

• HVAC/R vocational or technical certification with 2 years' experience.
• 4 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems per plans and codes.
• Configures direct digital controls to meet specifications.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across systems.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Mentors technicians and apprentices on safety and procedures.
• Operates company vehicle and coordinates service calls.
• Coordinates service calls and documents work orders.
• Ensures OSHA and EPA 608 compliance during service activities.
