Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Facilities HVAC/Refrigeration technician to repair and maintain commercial refrigeration systems across its stores. You will diagnose equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document activities in the work order system.

Health and safety compliance is essential, with EPA refrigerant handling certification and a valid driver’s license. This role requires the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights on a fast-paced retail campus.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee repair of Walmart facilities’ refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use HVAC/Refrigeration skills with hand, power, and digital tools to complete jobs.
• Document repair activities in the work order management system.
• Provide support to stores and associates; respond to emergency maintenance calls.
