Walmart is seeking an HVAC/R Technician in Midland, TX to oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-ins and rack units. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize equipment, while ensuring safety, EPA refrigerant handling, and OSHA compliance across sites.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate field work, manage parts and vendor relationships, and contribute to preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

Qualificações

• 3 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• 1 year of plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or Walmart store experience.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no major convictions in last 5 years.
• No preventable accidents with commercial vehicle in last 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems and ductwork.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across systems.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtimes.
• Manages refrigeration units, rack systems, and walk-ins for optimal performance.
• Submits maintenance logs, work orders, and expense vouchers; records notes.
• Ensures OSHA and EPA compliance in field practices and documentation.
