Walmart is seeking an HVAC/R technician for our Glendale, AZ location. The role involves overseeing installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems, along with supermarket rack refrigeration, to ensure optimal performance.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems, implement preventive maintenance, and mentor technicians while coordinating service calls and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R work experience in grocery or commercial settings.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• HVAC/R journeyman or equivalent certification where required.

Responsabilités

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems and rack refrigeration.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Manages preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Mentors technicians and coordinates field team activities and escalated issues.
• Maintains compliance with OSHA and EPA refrigerant handling protocols.
