Job summary

Walmart in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks an experienced HVAC/R technician to install and service commercial refrigeration and energy management systems. You will interpret plans, calibrate controls, and ensure compliance with codes while leading field teams.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, refrigerant handling per EPA 608, coordinating service calls, and mentoring Apprentices. On-call rotations and driving a company vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or equivalent
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance or HVAC experience for commercial systems
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification required
• HVAC-R Journeyman license where required

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and controls.
• Lead field teams and mentor Apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and workload using scheduling tools.
• Maintain and repair supermarket refrigeration units and walk-ins.
