University Edge & Dickinson Lofts in Greenville, NC is seeking a Lead HVAC Maintenance Technician. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain the property’s HVAC systems, own the preventive-maintenance program, and lead the on-site maintenance team to ensure comfortable, move-in-ready units for students.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring EPA certification, strong diagnostic skills, and familiarity with property-management software.

Qualifications

EPA Section 608 Certification required, universal preferred.
3+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience.
Ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and read schematics.
Experience leading or mentoring technicians, with lead-role readiness.
Comfort with property-management software and digital reporting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across the property.
Own the preventive-maintenance program for the community.
Lead and train on HVAC diagnostics and repairs.
Oversee general make-readies and summer turn to ensure move-in readiness.
Prioritize and close work orders; coordinate with Community Manager on timelines.
Follow safety, EPA, and OSHA standards; participate in on-call rotation.
